I would like to create a website for schools where students will be members of the school.
Schools will have visibility of all students and instructors
A calendar of events where group and private sessions would be listed
A calendar for instructors to schedule private lessons. If possible, an automated reminder sent 24 hours prior to the private/group lessons to the student/s to confirm participation.
Students will sign up for different group lessons where a group lesson instructor would manage the group of students signed up for his specific group. The group instructor will need to communicate with one student at a time or with the group. The instructor will have an area where he/she will see the students’ profiles and will leave comments/feedback on specific skills covered during the group lessons.
Students could also sign up for private lessons. In this case the private instructor will see the students’ profiles and leave comments feedback on specific skills covered during the private lessons.
Students will be able to log into a member only area where they will be able to update their profile, see other people registered for the same group lesson and the student’s ranking will be displayed in a way of a ladder for the specific group. A student from the same group will be able to click on another student name/link in the ladder and see the selected student’s profile, some pictures and accomplishments/awards.
Instructors will need an easy to navigate area to manage students, enter the comments/feedback and update students’ rankings for each group.
Integrated ladder system for students to challenge each other and move up the ladder based on results/ranking.
Schools and instructors will be listed in a public directory where people looking for schools or instructors for different subjects will be able to search by zip code, city or distance.
Schools will be able to list job openings.
Paying Instructors/members will be able to search for jobs, will be listed in the schools/instructors’ directory based on 3 different levels of membership, bronze, silver and gold. Gold members will be listed at the top of the results returned from searches, silver level next, bronze level last next and free instructors/members last.
We will use the same type of structure for independent instructors (not associated with schools) who need to manage their students/lessons the same way. It will need integrated with a shopping cart for Schools and instructors to sign up for different levels of services.

I recommend using UltimateWB. It allows customization and custom php coding, while making the process a lot faster and easier. Also, it gives you a website admin panel. I don't recommend using WordPress for this becaus Lagi
