I’m building a business-management SaaS platform using Blazor with MudBlazor as the component foundation, and I’m looking for a UI/UX designer to shape the entire user experience. There is a current front-end which would need to undergo an uplift. The same design language must feel natural: • In a browser • Inside a desktop shell (e.g. .NET MAUI) • On mobile screens Responsive, multi-platform thinking is required from the first wireframe onward. This is NOT A Figma-only role. Every design must be implementable in MudBlazor using Blazor-friendly CSS and design tokens. What you’ll do • Translate existing user flows and rough sketches into: ○ High-fidelity mockups ○ Clickable prototypes • Design core system-defining screens, including: ○ A data-rich analytics dashboard (charts, tables, KPIs) ○ A flexible user profile area • Use these screens to establish: ○ Layout patterns ○ Navigation behaviour ○ Modals, dialogs, and settings conventions • Design responsive layouts for: ○ Web (desktop) ○ Tablet ○ Mobile (down to ~360px) • Apply CSS and theming to extend MudBlazor: ○ Typography ○ Spacing ○ Density ○ Visual hierarchy • Ensure designs: ○ Map cleanly to MudBlazor components ○ Avoid custom UI elements that fight the framework • Collaborate closely with developers and provide regular written status updates during AEST hours Deliverables • Low- and high-fidelity designs for Web, Desktop, and Mobile breakpoints • A reusable design system aligned to: ○ MudBlazor variables ○ Typography and spacing rules • Handoff package including: ○ Component mappings ○ Color palette ○ Interaction notes ○ Responsive behaviour guidance Acceptance criteria (examples) • No layout shifts at desktop, tablet, or mobile breakpoints • Dashboard charts, tables, and KPIs remain readable at 360px width • All core profile actions (edit details, password reset, avatar upload) complete in ≤ 3 interactions Required experience (must have) • Proven UI/UX design experience for responsive SaaS applications • Strong CSS skills, especially in component-based systems • Hands-on experience working with Blazor • Strong familiarity with MudBlazor (or real Blazor + MudBlazor projects) • Experience designing within an existing component library • Ability to explain design trade-offs clearly • Availability overlapping AEST hours Nice to have • Experience exporting design tokens from Figma / XD / Sketch • Familiarity with Material Design 2.0 • Experience designing data-heavy dashboards • Light Blazor / Razor component awareness Compensation • AUD $8 – $15 per hour • Open to per-screen or milestone pricing Short design validation task (unpaid, shortlisted only) Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a small, time-boxed design task. Not production work. Not used commercially. ≤ 2 hours. Example: • Design one responsive dashboard screen using MudBlazor • Show desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts • Map key elements to MudBlazor components • Include brief CSS/theming notes How to apply To confirm you’ve read this: • Start your proposal with: MudBlazor + CSS • Share relevant work • Briefly explain how you design for responsive, multi-platform UI using component libraries If you enjoy defining product-level UX that developers can implement with minimal friction, this role is for you.

MudBlazor + CSS The tricky part here is not making pretty screens, it’s defining a SaaS UI that still feels native in browser, desktop shell, and mobile without fighting MudBlazor. I’d approach this by locking the design system first—spacing, type scale, density, responsive rules, and component mappings—so the dashboard, profile flows, dialogs, and settings patterns stay implementable in Blazor from day one. I’ve worked on responsive admin/SaaS interfaces where charts, tables, KPIs, and account settings had to remain usable across breakpoints without introducing custom UI that slowed development. The important part in a MudBlazor-first setup is making design decisions that developers can actually ship cleanly with tokens, CSS overrides, and existing component behavior rather than designing around the framework. A small validation task is fine if it is strictly time-boxed and non-production as described. - Is your current front end already using MudBlazor consistently, or is part of the uplift also standardizing mixed components? - Which screens are priority after the dashboard and profile area? - Do you already have brand colors/type, or should the first pass include theme definition as well?

MudBlazor + CSS Your SaaS UI uplift requires product-level UX, not a Figma-only handoff, so I would focus on implementable responsive patterns across browser, desktop shell, tablet, and 360px mobile layouts. I would establish reusable MudBlazor-aligned tokens for typography, spacing, density, colors, navigation, dialogs, dashboards, and profile workflows, with clear component mappings and CSS/theming notes for developers. A useful improvement would be validating the analytics dashboard early at the narrowest breakpoint to preserve KPI readability and reduce later rework. I can provide concise written updates during AEST overlap and collaborate closely with your Blazor team. MudBlazor + CSS Your main risk here is ending up with mockups that look polished in Figma but become awkward once translated into MudBlazor across desktop, tablet, and 360px mobile. I’d keep the work grounded in the component library from the first wireframes, using reusable layout patterns, responsive behavior rules, and CSS/theming decisions that developers can carry straight into Blazor. I’ve handled product UI work where data-heavy dashboards, profile/settings flows, and modal conventions had to be consistent across multiple form factors. In these builds, the real value comes from reducing implementation friction: clear component mapping, sensible density and hierarchy, and written handoff notes that explain trade-offs instead of leaving the dev team to guess. I can also structure the handoff so design tokens, interaction notes, and breakpoint guidance are easy to maintain as the product grows. - Are you expecting the desktop shell UI to mirror the web layout closely, or should certain navigation patterns differ there? - Do you already have rough user flows for profile actions like avatar upload and password reset? - Would you like the first phase focused on system foundations first, or one flagship screen first to validate direction?

MudBlazor + CSS Howdy! A great MudBlazor design should feel like it was built for the framework, not forced into it later. I can design your dashboard and SaaS interface around MudBlazor from the start, making every screen practical for development and consistent across devices. I can handle desktop, tablet and mobile layouts, including the 360px constraint, while keeping data heavy screens clean and easy to use. I’ll also create reusable typography, spacing, colors and responsive rules for a smooth developer handoff. I can show similar SaaS and dashboard examples in chat and collaborate closely with your developers, including written updates during AEST overlap. Hi, MudBlazor + CSS , I’ve read your brief closely, and this is exactly the kind of product-level UI/UX work I enjoy: shaping a responsive SaaS experience that feels consistent across browser, desktop shell, and mobile while staying fully implementable within MudBlazor. I can uplift your current front-end into a clear, scalable system with high-fidelity screens, clickable prototypes, and reusable design patterns. I have strong experience in Website Design, Graphic Design, CSS, User Interface / IA, and designing structured SaaS interfaces with component constraints in mind. I’ll create responsive layouts for dashboards, profile flows, dialogs, and settings using Adobe XD workflows where helpful, while keeping UX / User Experience decisions grounded in MudBlazor mappings, design tokens, spacing, typography, and developer-friendly handoff notes. I can start by reviewing the existing flows and delivering an initial direction for key dashboard/profile screens within the first few days, with regular AEST-aligned written updates. Which existing MudBlazor components are already locked in, so I can design around them rather than against them? Best regards, KANIKA

MudBlazor + CSS What stands out here is the need to make one design language work naturally across browser, desktop shell, and mobile while staying honest to MudBlazor. The best way to do that is to define practical rules early—grid, spacing, typography, navigation states, table behavior, and dialog patterns—before too many one-off screens create inconsistency. I’ve worked on responsive product interfaces built around existing component systems, including dashboard-style screens with dense information and mobile constraints. For this kind of project, I focus on readability at smaller widths, predictable interactions, and CSS/theming choices that extend the framework instead of fighting it. The written status-update part also makes sense for this type of work, especially when UX trade-offs need to be explained clearly during implementation. - How far along is the current front end uplift—visual refresh only, or are some user flows still being shaped? - Do you want clickable prototypes for all core screens or mainly for the higher-risk journeys? - Is there an existing token structure or theme file we should align the design system to?

MudBlazor + CSS YOUR EXISTING BLAZOR FRONT END NEEDS A COHESIVE DESIGN SYSTEM THAT WORKS EQUALLY WELL ACROSS WEB, DESKTOP AND MOBILE—WHILE REMAINING NATIVE TO MUDBLAZOR. I have 12 years of IT experience and strong experience designing responsive SaaS products, dashboards and component-based interfaces. I understand this is not a Figma-only role; every design needs to be practical for Blazor implementation. I can take your existing flows and uplift them into: • Low/high-fidelity responsive designs and clickable prototypes • Data-heavy analytics dashboards with readable charts, KPIs and tables • Flexible user profile and settings experiences • Desktop, tablet and mobile layouts down to 360px • Consistent navigation, dialogs, modals and interaction patterns • MudBlazor component mappings with Blazor-friendly CSS • Reusable typography, spacing, density, colors and design tokens My approach is component-first: I design around what MudBlazor can implement cleanly, extending its theme rather than fighting the component library with unnecessary custom UI. I can also provide clear interaction notes, responsive behaviour guidance and developer-ready handoff documentation, while collaborating during AEST overlap. I’d be happy to complete the shortlisted validation task and demonstrate how I translate a dashboard into practical MudBlazor components. Let’s connect to review your current frontend and establish the design direction. THANKS CHRISTINA

Hi, This project requires precise alignment between UI/UX design and MudBlazor implementation across multiple platforms, which presents a unique challenge in maintaining consistent responsive behavior and component fidelity. The main risk lies in designing fluid, data-dense dashboards and user profiles that map cleanly to MudBlazor components without custom overrides that could break framework compatibility. I usually structure UI systems by separating layout, navigation, and theming concerns clearly, ensuring that design tokens and CSS variables are leveraged for consistent theming and density control. I approach multi-platform UI by validating component behavior and responsiveness early in the design phase, reducing developer friction during implementation. Systems designed with this discipline tend to be maintainable and scalable for long-term SaaS evolution. I would first validate the component mappings and responsive breakpoints to establish a robust baseline for the design system. Thanks, Hercules
