I should first ask you about the hosting you are currently using ... are you sure the slowliness of your website is not just due to a constant server overload, if it's a shared server where you're hosted now? Can you see it running faster at some moments, eg. at night, when the traffic is generally less ? Then, how customised is your prestashop, do you have tons of modules or could you make a list of the extra modules you've installed there? My opinion is that there are several levels that need to be "touched", to say it nicely: the server level (where optimisation of mysql db and possibly php occurs), the code level (php code optimisations), a db structure optimisation (where the db tables structure, indexes and queries performed should be checked) ... Can you please send the URL of your website so that I can have a look on it and perform some basic external tests ? Regards, Dragos

Hello there My bid is for straight forward migration from one server to another including configuring and optimizing the new server. This bid doesn't include setting up the virtual server. Setting up the virtual server will take a bit of planning such as the glue dns, registration of a dns server if you don't have one, configuring the server, setting up the admin tools for the server etc. I can do that at £50 extra on top of my bid.
