Responsive Site Design and Launch

(A) Responsive designer requirements: • Prior experience with BigCommerce and e-commerce responsive design • Ability to work with our Developer to create viable, executable designs to present to the client • Proficient in Adobe XD (our previous mock-ups are in XD format) • Ability to do whatever is necessary to complete work within agreed upon timeline (B) How the process will work with the client: 1. Designer works (with developer feedback) to create mock-ups for the client (in Adobe XD) 2. Client is presented with designs and gives feedback 3. Designer takes client feedback and updates mock-ups accordingly 4. Updated Mock-ups are presented to client for final feedback and approval 5. Any minor changes are made by the designer and given to the client as the final proof 6. Developer implements responsive designs on all pages (C) What we need from the responsive designer: Design and implement the following: • Create 2 responsive design mock-ups (one for iPhone/one for iPad) for each page type on the site listed below, showing full page functionality on the mock-up. Different mock-ups will need to be created in order to capture all page types: BigCommerce: Have designer look at site during interview process o Home page o Category Page (2 representative mock-ups needed, there are 3 pages in total + 2 unpublished pages) o Product Pages (2 representative mock-ups needed, there are 22 pages in total +3 unpublished) – it is critical to maintain full functionality of these pages on the responsive design. Please review all product pages prior to making mock-up o About page – 2 mock-ups needed o Resources page – 2 mock-ups needed o Troubleshooting page (DIY Support under menu) – 2 mock-ups needed o About Z-Wave page – 2 mock-ups needed o Cart page (if responsive design is needed) – 2 mock-ups needed o Check out page (if responsive design is needed) – 2 mock-ups needed Kayako: Have designer look at site during interview process o Help center homepage – 2 mock-ups needed o Category page – 2 mock-ups needed o Article Page – 2 mock-ups needed (D) Other steps needed to launch website for developer: o Set-up all redirects for both BigCommerce and Kayako sites to ensure no errors transitioning to new site o Confirm functionality of Chase Bank merchant services and Skubana on BigCommerce site o Launch new website/configure domains so that BigCommerce = TBD and Kayako = TBD *We need responsive designs completed and implemented by 1/18/2018, website to be fully launched (BigCommerce and Kayako) by 1/25/2018 **Designer needs to provide us with a timeline to complete responsive designs as outlined in the scope of work prior to bidding on project and being awarded project. The timeline must allow time for client review and for the developer to implement the designs by established deadlines.
