I need an installer package created from the following directions. Winning bidder will get a DVD by mail with all files on it. I don't know what this job entails expense wise, so disregard my "approximate budget". I also need a estimated time of completion on the project, including all necessary testing.
System does not need rebooted until installer is complete.
It will be run on WinXP Pro only machines.
User has local admin rights.
A click "here or there" is ok, but I want it mostly automatic.
Directions for the manual install are as follows:
Go to sbs20003epicornet
Install the .net framework “[url removed, login to view]”
Install the .net framework sp1 “[url removed, login to view]”
Go to sbs2003epicormfgsys803
Install “[url removed, login to view]”.
Follow prompts server share name is sbs2003epicormfgsys803
Accept installer defaults.
At shortcut Creation check “vista”, “create desktop icons”.
(currently there is a installer bug that will not update vista to latest version automatically so we have to do it manually). Go to sbs2003epicormfgsysclient
Copy all of the contents to C:client803.
Install ODBC drivers for Vista
Go to sbs2003epicoroe100bnetsetup
Double click on the [url removed, login to view] file
Working directory is sbs2003epicor
Double click on [url removed, login to view]
Setup ODBC connection
Go to Control Panel
Go to Administrative tools
Go to Data Sources (ODBC)
Click on the system dsn tab
click on add
Scroll down and choose the "DataDirect [url removed, login to view] 32-Bit Progress SQL92 v10.0B" driver, click on finish
On the ODBC driver setup screen put
Data Source Name: V803Live (do not use spaces in the name)
Description: OpenEdge 10B
Host name: sbs2003
Port Number: 8350
Database name: mfgsys
Userid : sysprogress
Go to advanced tab and change default isolation level to “read uncommitted”
Go back to general tab and test connect (password is sysprogress)
Click apply and ok
Note: Vista is the name of this program. Vista is NOT referring to Microsoft Windows Vista.
Location of installer and files will be shared folder from server (not drive letter mapped).
