Job Description:
I am looking for an experienced provider to help me create a system service that uses software to construct a storage device for Windows 10 (Win64). It will need to have a capacity of over 1000 GB, which can be achieved through the use of a Hard Disk Drive. I require a provider who is skilled in their field and has experience in the area of software based storage systems for Windows 10. The provider needs to be reliable, knowledgeable and able to complete the task within a timely manner. I am looking for someone who can take this project seriously and commit to it in order to produce the highest quality possible.
Code bloat, obfuscation or otherwise unreadable/indecipherable code will be grounds for rejection. The code must be easily readable and able to followed by a layman.
The system service will emulate a hardware storage device, e.g. Drive Z:.
The service will translate read/write calls to/from the virtual device into function calls to a provided C++ class.
The service may NOT require the installation of 3rd party libraries or drivers.
The project must compile and run on my system in the Code::Blocks IDE with GCC compiler.
The C++ class will handle all the hardware interface issues. It accepts raw calls for 48 bit LBA style sectors, returning 512 bytes per sector. You may not edit the class, it must be used as is.
