We need three devices designed and programmed using the ATMEGA128RFA1 to do the following:
The first device is a wireless sensor module. It monitors Temperature, Relative Humidity, Co2 and the current time. The humidity module suggested is the HIH-5030, it outputs a linear voltage. The co2 module is the ELT s-100h. The sensor device will communicate with other wireless relays (mains power switch) (As described below) in an attempt to maintain desired environmental conditions. The device will broadcast it's current values to a USB wireless interface in defined intervals. The device accepts messages from the USB wireless interface allowing for it's configuration. Configuration consists of the ON/OFF set points for the sensor values along with the appropriate Wireless Relays ID's(nodes) to communicate with after a set point has been reached. This device will be powered by a 12VDC switching power supply or as required.
The second device is a wireless relay. Consisting of 2 (4 and 8 as a possibility) relays to switch mains voltages. The device accepts commands to turn on or off a particular relay and to report the relays current state. This device should be mains powered.
The Third Device is a USB Wireless Interface it is to plug into a USB port allowing for access to the wireless network. If Zigbee is used then this device would be considered the coordinator. This device will be communicated with PC software through a virtual comm port to configure the sensor device and to manually control the relay device.
We need all three devices designed and programmed including PCB layout and a Bill of Materials. The main concern with the project is reliability and cost. When placing your bid please include a rough estimate of the components cost.
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
2) Deliverables to include for each of the 3 designs. A functional prototype, eagle schematic and layout files, bill of materials, source code.
