I run XBalance, a high-end sportswear and fitness label, and I’m ready to launch our online store. I’m looking for a developer-designer who can match the polish and usability of Decathlon India while tailoring every detail to our brand. Core expectations - Build the site on WooCommerce with clean, modular code that scales as our catalogue grows. - Maintain a premium look and feel across every page so visitors instantly sense quality. - Shape the homepage around featured products, using smooth navigation, fast-loading hero visuals, and clear calls to action. - Give each product page a built-in size guide, variant selectors, and high-resolution images. - Add advanced category filters (sport, gender, collection, price, size) that stay intuitive on mobile. - Integrate Indian payment gateways (UPI, net-banking, major cards, wallets) with SSL and fraud-protection measures. - Configure shipping rules, tax settings, and automated order emails so my in-house team can manage fulfillment easily. - Optimize for Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and on-page SEO; Lighthouse scores above 90 on mobile are the target. - Deliver a tidy WordPress backend with reusable blocks, clear naming, and concise documentation so non-technical staff can update banners, products, and blog posts without breaking layout. Tech stack & tools WooCommerce, Elementor or native Block Editor, PHP 8+, MySQL, CSS Grid/Flexbox, vanilla JavaScript or React components, Yoast or RankMath for SEO, Razorpay or PayU APIs, and Git for version control. Acceptance criteria 1. Site passes cross-device tests (Chrome, Safari, Edge; iOS & Android) with no layout shifts. 2. End-to-end checkout using a UPI sandbox completes without errors. 3. PageSpeed Insights: 90+ mobile, 95+ desktop. 4. Admin handbook (PDF or Notion) covering theme structure, adding products, updating the size guide, and running promotions.
