We're looking for an online researcher and events content creator for an Australian Kids Website.
For the right candidate this is an ongoing role, at least 20 hours per week initially with the option to move to full time (40 hours per week) after a trial period.
You will be sourcing and researching great children's events happening in Sydney on a daily, weekly and monthly basis from a predefined list of online resources and newsletters that you will subscribe to.
You will assess and pick out the best events from these resources and write up the events in 'our brand voice' before submitting them directly to our system for approval by our content manager.

Essential Skills & Experience.
Impeccable written English language.
Strong attention to detail and excellent copywriting skills.
Previous experience of creating online content for ideally Australian or UK websites.
Proven online research skills - the ability to source all of the best events for kids and families across Sydney.
Have an existing understanding of Australian culture or a willingness to learn.
Data Entry - previous experience and absolute accuracy in copying key event details.
Previous experience creating posts using the Wordpress CMS platform.
Photo sourcing & editing - skilled in selecting appropriate images, and resizing and retouching images.
Creative writing - write creative, concise and accurate event listings, highlighting relevant information to engage and inspire readers.
The ideal candidate will fulfil all of the above requirements, be looking to have a long term work relationship with us, and ideally has a passion for children and families.
You will be supported by our Content Manager who you will be in weekly contact with via Skype - She will assess and review your work on an ongoing basis, supply training, direction and feedback.
