Hi, I am looking for someone to help me with my Wordpress site development.
I have a frontend form where users are able to submit their products to Woocommerce. This form is by WP User Frontend Pro.
However, the products I need them to submit are often large files, and my server (Siteground) has a max upload limit of 128MB.
This upload limit cannot be increased via php or coding, as it is set by Siteground themselves for all shared hosting packages.
I am looking for a solution.
I want the files to be stored and served on my S3 bucket. I found a Wordpress plugin that copies the files to S3 automatically and then deleted from the server, but with this solution the server limit is still applied and users cannot upload in the first place.
I have a few options...
OPTION 1: Have them upload to S3 themselves (via transmit etc) and select the file on the upload form. However, I don't want other user's files to be accessible and I don't want to have to manually create S3 folders for users.
OPTION 2: Somehow bypass the upload limit and allow them to upload large files which will then be moved to and served from S3 via a plugin.
OPTION 3: Have them enter a URL (dropbox for example) which is then downloaded by my site, added to a bucket and then the bucket URL is added to the relevant product
OPTION 4: Allow users to add the file URL associated to the given WC product themselves (have them paste the link into the form where it will then add that URL as the downloadable file)
Or any other recommendations that people may have (besides changing hosting provider)
Thank you in advance
