Hi there, I'm a web admin in trouble here.
Recently, one of the production sites in my job crashed, and I haven't found a fast way to fix it.
And I've thought of creating a new site on a subdomain, linking all posts, pages and media, personalizing it all again, and then running a Search & Replace to make it be the new site, on a brannd new installation, in a simple way.
I don't have access to the wp-admin area of the old page, but I have access to PhpMyAdmin, so I exported the (presumably) broken database before it got further damage. It's never too late for a backup, heh.
What I want, basically, is to get a .sql file that will allow me to link and see every post and page on the new wordpress installation, keeping the publish dates but with a new URL (with the subdomain addition). And I want to be able to see all the media on wp-content on Media in the backend part (wp-admin).
I am willing to create a brand new wordpress installation, and upload everything from wp-content of the old, broken site, to this new wordpress installation, so it can be linked there.
After I get that site nice and configured, I want to run a Search and Replace via a Wordpress plugin to make it the real site.
Is it possible for someone to get my .sql export and fix it so it works with a new wordpress installation? I am willing to give admin access to the new installation, so you can use Adminer to change the [login to view URL] file to point to a remotely hosted database of your convenience for testing purposes. Also, I'm willing to revert that file to it's original state everytime that's needed if your database breaks the site, as mine does.
