Rebuilding and Modernizing an Existing Website in Wordpress

Current stack/framework: GRAV ([login to view URL]) with custom js

Target stack/framework: Wordpress, latest version, upgradeable to future versions + integrations (see below)

Objectives:

- migrate data and rebuild the general look and feel of [login to view URL] in Wordpress

- improve brand identity through cleaner design, distinctive type faces, better color coordination/consistency

- modernize design and make it consistent across all pages

- use new, high impact, high resolution media: images, video clips (optimized for mobile)

- improve site navigation and information organization, streamline redundancy, lengthy/verbose pages

- move all existing integrations (see below) to Wordpress

- improve information infrastructure

- export GRAV user data from the current site and import into Wordpress - be aware that GRAV uses a flat-file approach to data structure and does not have a database

Integration - existing (should sync client data between Wordpress and all 3):

- Stripe Checkout

- Hubspot

Integration - new:

- Stripe Customer Portal ([login to view URL])

- Affiliate marketing

New features:

- Grouped navigation with subnavigation items

- Assign client groups in the backend, based on the kind of product(s) they signed up for or if they are a former (inactive) client

- Additional fields (some dynamic) in multiple forms: Sign-up/Registration, My Account (user account page - modifidable by user), backend (wordpress admin)

- Ability to add new form fields on the fly for specific user profiles from the back end - these should have the option of being shown on the front-facing My Account page

- All checkout via Stripe portal ([login to view URL] hosted) or within an embedded container on given [login to view URL] page (no pop-ups, which is the current behaviour)

- Confirmation emails upon sign-up, plan update (upgrade/downgrade), and cancellation

- New product comparison grid with monthly/annual price/billing toggle

- Information similar or identical across plans should be centralized in a logical place and referenced when needed

- optimize [login to view URL] for fast loading across all devices

- Integrate effective SEO / search indexing

- Ability to search and filter (tags) article items within [login to view URL] page

- Lightbox/ability to spread across full screen embedded images within the site

- Social Login (e.g. Facebook Connect, Google, Linkedin, Twitch, etc.) in addition to standard wordpress registration/login

- Better social media link visibility
