We currently run a paper-based "job tracking" system using a printed PDF form to go along with each job.
We are planning to move to use CiviCRM to keep in contact with our customers, and the "cases" feature of CiviCRM to keep track of the jobs they send us.
We have a server running Wordpress+CiviCRM, and we are testing CiviCRM doing this, but we need two webforms;
(a) A simple contact webform so that potential customers can fill it in and get their details on to the CRM (this should be pretty easy).
(b) A "Case initiation" webform, in which potential customers describe the job they need doing (this will take more time to set up).
We have a PDF form currently used for (b) that our customers currently fill-in on their PC. It is six A4 pages long. We want to replace this current PDF form with a new webform (or more likely a set of successive webforms) on our Wordpress/CiviCRM site, and we need this form to initiate the creation of a Case, so that the info that the user puts on the webform becomes part of the case.
There is a method to make such forms using CiviCRM "Profiles", but I cannot work out how to do it. Therefore this project definitely needs someone with previous CiviCRM and preferably CiviCase experience. Please apply *only* if you have previous CiviCRM (not just CRM) experience. Thanks!
I can send a copy of the current PDF form on request.
