The programming is essentially already done. TuFat charges $[url removed, login to view] for RSS Reader scripts that embed RSS content into flash ([url removed, login to view]). With the $[url removed, login to view] purchase of a TuFat script, the flash source code is provided -- really. However, there seems to be a problem with the Tufat scripts in the sense that images embedded into RSS are "stretched" and "disfigured." This poses a problem for people like me who want to show images in the rss along with text in the rss using flash.
The main application for this is to use flash to render [url removed, login to view]'s RSS product feeds, so you will need to test out your coding with [url removed, login to view]'s RSS product feeds to ensure that images are nice and neat, and that text is readable and laid out in a manner which compliments the image.
I would like the flash size to be 300x250, similar to the size used by Google adsense. Links in the RSS feed should have their own custom color. For seriously long text descriptions, the rss text feed can be tuncated (using something like [... read more] ), however, the image must remain in tact.
In fact, think of it this way. The RSS feeds should "feel" like a Google Adsense Ad with Google's prohibited practice of placing images next to ads. :)
I would you to modify "RSS Reader Set 3," "RSS Reader #4" for this purpose, however, you'll walk away with more than just #4 in the end.
Your bid should include the $[url removed, login to view] it will take for you to get the Tufat script; any price above the inital $[url removed, login to view] is the price you are going to charge me to make the necessary modifications.
The RSS feed should be cached locally, and updated once each hour, in order NOT to hammer Amazon's server.
Be reasonable with your rates. Like I said, most of the work is already done for you.
