XML-FLASH CS3 AS2 - Special Characters Integration

QUIZZ INTEGRATION PROJECT ARCHITECTURE: 1) XML - file contains text and images that are configurable 2) Flash - reads the text and images in the form a quizz 3) Flash/HTML - at end of quizz displays a form, sent to store to MySQL 4) MySQL - at end of Flash quizz stores data sent from form 5) HTML - Query goes to MySQL and returns the data in DB, displays on HTML page VERSION: CS3 AS2 FILES SUPPLIED: We will supply the following files: A) Base XML .xml B) Base Flash .fla and .swf INTEGRATION REQUIRED: A) Expectation is for XML & Flash to work perfectly together to display special characters (namely French & Spanish for our clients in Canada) SEE ARCHITECTURE POINT 1 & 2 Known fix appears to be (but we will use any other solution as long as it is functional): XML) [login to view URL] = "uft-8" [login to view URL] = "iso-8859-1" OR/AND: FLASH) set the codepage to true [login to view URL] = true; B) Expectation is for the files to work for all users on Browsers IE, Safari, Firefox DELIVERABLES: The Project will be deemed completed when: A) Expectations in EXPECTATION REQUIRED section are tested succesfully B) Developer has handed over the new files including source (all - .fla, .swf, .xml) The project will be deemed non-completed if any of the following are not addressed: i) Special Character fix fully integrated between XML & Flash ii) Delivery must use the Base files we supply (i.e. you must modify what we already have) and you must release the source back to us (all - .fla, .swf, .xml) in a zip file BUDGET: 50$
