Every Search by the User should also save the details to a Central SQL Database which could be used to study the Search Pattern or behaviour from the consumer or user. 2] "Product Ratings Section" where Consumers could rate the different Products available on our website. If no rating is available then we could manually assign a Virtual Rating to the different products. This rating should be displayed besides each individual product. 3] "Product Comparison Section" where the Product would be compared one-to-one with a competitor's offering for the same product. 4] "Reasons to Buy the Product" section which will guide the users why they need to buy the particular product. 5] "Quick and Advanced Search" Sections based on specific Keywords. This will be different than the "Kool Search Genie" section. The should be 100% accurate and precise so that the exact match is displayed. Also the different "Search Bars" from different Merchants should be integrated into this section. 6] "Newsletter Subscription" section where user could opt-in to receive daily, weekly or monthly newsletters automatically. This section should add the E-mail Address, Gender, Title, First Name, Last Name, Age, Country and Interested Categories entered by the user straight into the Optin List. 7] "Newsletter Creation" section which will enable us to pick specific hot offers from different merchants and send it to the opt-in list in the form of Newsletter. The selection of products will be based on different criteria i.e Gender, Age, Interested Categories etc.. 8] "Dynamic Price Extraction" from Merchants Website or raw URL for the different products that we will showcase. Different Merchants use different technologies at the back-end. We will need to update the different prices into our database from different merchant websites or URLs on a daily basis during non-peak periods. If this is not possible then we should be able to provide range of price for different products. For e.g. 0$ - 10$, 10$ - 25$ etc.... 9] "Hot Offers" section where we will display products falling into the 50% to 90% discount range. This discount will be offered to us straight from our merchants. 10] Listing of offers in the current "Special Offers" section based on Categories of Products as well as Products besides Merchant. This section currently uses the Dynamic Rich Media [DRM] Technology where the content will change automatically when the merchant will change the content on their end. 11] "Featured Products" section on the Home Page where we will change the Featured Products on a weekly basis. 12] "Home Page Products Update" section where we can change the products displayed on our home page on a daily or weekly basis. 13] "Advertising Subscription" section where third parties or companies could subscribe to our site for displaying attractive banner advertising based on their content. 14] "Content Based Advertising" section which will display content based product or service besides each product in the Search Result. This concept will be similar to gmail" where content based advertising is displayed besides each e-mail. If content based ad for a particular product search is unavailable then it should pick up from third-party linked websites which would be PPC based websites similar to Google Adwords. 15] As you can see on the current home page we are having attractive banners from different merchants. We need some ways to update these banners quickly or probably have some kind of session based banner rotation where each user will be seeing or observing a different set of banners.
