We are looking for someone to develop a very user-friendly flex3 application and associated database to be run on a touchscreen kiosk. The kiosk will allow users to query a local mysql database to lookup FDA approved pharmaceuticals by trade or generic name or medical condition search. The database schema will ultimately be determined by the required data fields themselves, which should be something like the following websites:
[url removed, login to view] -OR- [url removed, login to view] -OR- [url removed, login to view] Results should give all pertinent consumer related information like the above websites including but not limited to: (a) general information (b) Uses (c) side effects (d) precautions (e) interactions (f) dosing/overdosing etc. Results pages will be paginated if large.
Winning bidder will use all available resources including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Institute of Health (NIH), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as other websites to pull data to populate the database.
User interface will be developed using Flex3 and the database will be mysql.
Generic theme and style elements should be kept separate from the app functionality according to good design patterns.
Desired layout details will be shared with interested bidders.
An NDA and Service Agreement must in place prior to development.
