This is an enhancement to the previous XSLT project, which you successfully created for me.
Now I want to be able to FILTER the output of the XSLT transformations. For example, the output of the Terminal Market report shows multiple cities, like Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, etc.
I want to be able to pass in a parameter, perhaps called cityName. For example when cityName=â€ATLANTAâ€, the report will show only the records for Atlanta.
I need similar functionality for the Shipping Point report and the Movement report. For now, don’t worry about Retail report.
1. Terminal Market – cityName
2. Shipping Point – cityName
3. Movement – districtName
To pass in the parameter, I want you to utilize the TransformArgumentList property of the ASP.NET XML Control, if that is feasible. If that is not feasible, or if you have a better way, let me know.
The demo ASP.NET page for each should include a textbox for entering the parameter, such as ATLANTA, etc., or maybe a DropDownList. The demo page just needs to show that the filtering works. How it looks does not matter.
IMPORTANT: Your code, including the XSLT files, must be well COMMENTED, explaining what you are doing as you do it.
My budget for this project is $35.
