Celebalike iOS app
Celebalike is a hugely popular iOS entertainment application that has frequently featured in the top 10 charts in both the UK and US stores. The app uses face recognition to match user-submitted pictures against a database of celebrity faces, returning the highest matches. This is accomplished by uploading image data from the app to a server via a PHP web service. Processing is then handed off to C++ application linking against the commercial FaceSDK face recognition library by Luxand. I have been the sole developer contributing to the client-side Objective-C and server-side C++ portions of the application since its original release in 2010.
