I developed a Real-Time Road Accident Detection and Emergency Alarming System using YOLOv8 to detect and classify accidents into categories like accidental, non-accidental, and injuries. The system sends automated alerts to emergency services (1122) within 30 seconds, including the accident's location and severity. The project aims to enhance safety and reduce response times in Gilgit-Baltistan.
