Australian Postage Stamps
This brief required me to create four stamps and a First Day Cover for a theme which we chose that related to Australia. The theme that I chose was Extinct Australian Animals. For my stamps I chose to do watercolour painting and chose the 4 animals which are the Gastric Brooding Frog, the Tasmanian Tiger, the Paradise Parrot and the Norfolk Island Kaka. A stamp was also to be created that would be stamped onto the First Day Cover with the date it was issued, what the stamp series is and the words "First Day of Issue." I also came up with the slogan "Ghosts of the Past" which was to be put on all items.

My name is Ange Monitto and I studied at Grenadi School of Design for two years to recieve my Advance Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design. My style consists of many detailed designs and patterns. I am proficient in Adobe CS5 creative suite with a knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Soundbooth, After effects and Premiere. I have been interested in design since I was young. As part of my tertiary studies I was also required to complete Photography, Drawing, Multimedia, Design History, Marketing and Professional Practice.
