Experienced Graphic Designer

I have been working as a graphic designer for 15 years, and I love it. I am an advanced Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign user. Most of my experience is in print shops as the in-house graphic designer. In this position, I am able to work on a broad spectrum of projects including business stationery (letterhead, envelopes, business cards, etc.), invitations of all sorts, resumes, logos, signage, brochures and flyers, and much much more! I work directly with the clients requesting the work, which allows me to give them exactly what they're hoping for. I have years of experience with the printing process, thus ensuring that all of my projects a re 100% print-ready. I have a fondness for typography, and would love to one day create my own fonts.

Portfolio

This is a large wall mural created for Print and Copy Centers of Colorado. It measures 3 feet x 25 feet and was created in Adobe CS5 (InDesign & Photoshop). The subject is the history of printing, calling out important milestones and events along printing's timeline.
This mural is interactive, featuring QR codes for every event, so a reader can get more information from the internet if they like. The QR codes act as a "digital bibliography" as well.

Customized eBay Template for Auction Listings

This piece was created as a newspaper ad for Print and Copy Centers of CO, and was also printed as a postcard for both mailing and hand-delivering. The ad appeared in the Glendale Cherry Creek Chronicle in July 2011.
Created in Adobe InDesign, this piece also contains a unique QR code that will take the "scanner" to a webpage that not only shows all of the current promotions, but also tracks the QR code traffic.

Newspaper ad and Postcard

This doorhanger was created in Adobe InDesign CS5, and features a perforated tear off business card at the bottom. The client's goal was to let potential sellers know that he can help them sell their homes. The doorhangers were printed on 16 pt C2S with gloss UV coating on both sides to give a polished professional look.

As the full color prepress specialist, I was responsible for making sure all files were properly built for printing. I extended bleeds, fixed low-resolution logos, adjusted colors, and some layout work. I ganged multiple cards on one press run based on their stock, colors, coating, and quantity to ensure the most efficient runs with the least amount of waste.
