I negotiate many different kinds of specialties, like: illustration, animation, songwriting, composing in many styles of music, singing, scripting, voices, acting and directing. Also, I really like to make people laugh. My Work Experience stretches over a decade of many different kinds of custom projects including: illustrations for publications, poster designs, digital art, fine art, short animated cartoons, political cartoons, etc. I had the chance to experience being an Art Teacher Last summer for The "Balboa Park Museum of Art" Art School, in San Diego, CA. There, I instructed a class of 30 students on comic book development. Ages ranged from 10-14. It was a fun Summer course. Children are so violent. Thereafter, I had nightmares for 3 months. For quite some time I worked as a Lead Graphic Artist at the print shop Adventure Imaging, San Diego, CA. There, I designed and printed custom promotional ads, banners, signs, and business cards for a host of businesses ranging in size from sole proprietors to nation-wide corporations. Customers lined up for miles for my skills! I was overwhelmingly flabbergasted... In a great way! I was Assistant Manager at Einstein's Bagels, San Diego, CA from 4/2006 - 9/2006. There, I was a full time peak-hours Manager of the busiest Einstein's Bagels in San Diego County. I was responsible for a team of 12 employees working extended shifts, including weekends and Holidays. I now hate bagels with a deep passion. That corporation should have done a better job to keep me. I was an Art Director for a local newspaper called Dawn Media during 3/2005 - 4/2006. There, I laid out several different monthly tabloids and "Update News". It was a nightmare dealing with a transsexual "staff member", no pun intended. Yes, the pun works actually. She didn't shut up about it. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree from Platt College, San Diego, CA. I went there 2/2000 - 9/2004. There, I learned an addictive amount of software including: • Photoshop CS • Illustrator CS • After Effects • Pagemaker • Dreamweaver • Quark Express • Adobe Premiere • Lightwave and Modeler • Word • Flash MX • Music Composition • Animation • Video Editing And, staying long nights to maximize my production, I became fluent in skill on both PC and MAC Platforms... Software-Spanglish if you will. I posses ALL traditional art skills: pencil, pen and ink, paint, clay modeling, charcoal, marker composition, and pastels to name a few. Yes, I am a crazy artist. For mastery refinement, I developed deep interest and expertise in music composition, piano performance, audio editing, story development, screenwriting, idea tossing, special effects and comedy. And of course, I speak English and Spanish, so I know the best of both worlds!
