ANDREW FINAN, KLOO PREPRODUCTION ARTWORK Here's a quick breakdown of the Design, Storyboard and Animation stages as done for Kloo videos. (click on the images for a larger view) Based on a draft script provided by the client, the aim of this project was to create a series of family friendly explainer videos to promote and demonstrate a new language based card game to help children learn new languages. The videos needed to illustrate the rules of eight example games in a visually appealing way and match the clients existing branding. The design process started with some rough sketches, including early pencil sketches of a "modern nuclear family" which were worked up into the final colour character designs ready for animation.
