Retrofit project for seismic loads
Retrofit project of a 10 - storey residential and office building in Athens center, Greece. Structure made of reinforced concrete and hinge propereties for beams and columns calculated according to EC8 part 3 and FEMA regulations. Push over as well as non linear time history analyses performed with selected accelerograms in order to obtain the capacity of the structure and suggest retrofit scenarios which included RC jackets for columns and beams and/or viscous dampers.
