Hotel Del' Uva - Grape Hotel in Tuscany - Design
This project is an effort to understand design through the hospitality world, as well as integrating the architecture, design, location and culture into a boutique design hotel. The idea of cultures becomes the key influence to the hotel’s characteristics, personality and design; therefore culture takes a major role as an influencer to every decision taken towards the design of this project. The project has successfully resulted in helping define a concept and visualisation of a boutique hotel idea with the main theme and importance on culture and its influence in the architecture and interior design world, with the theme of battling between architecture and design the past and present, and understand the way to fuse them within each other.
About Me
Born and raised in the Arab world, I have learned how to appreciate culture and the importance of it in one’s perspective, this has a huge impact on me as a human, artist, and designer. Yet, ever since I laid eyes on the Santa Maria del Fiore, Duomo, I have grown a Florentine identity within my, that ever-lastingly grows every time I walk in the streets of Florence. After finishing a granted scholarship in the business world, I realised my ever-growing passion towards the arts and design world has always been apart of me... that is when I decided to pursue a second bachelors degree, in the arts world, its never too late to follow your heart...
