PU - for Patricia Urqiuola
Dedicated to one of the key furniture designer in the 21st century, Patricia Urqiuola, the exhibition portrayed the designer’s personality, persona and character. Rather making a typical, traditional exhibition space, the design of the PU Expo is to make the exhibition experience like a night life outing itself. Through the designer's furniture design, their character, and target customer, the Expo becomes a small yet elegant “beach club”, where all the hip-electric furniture are from the exhibition designer herself. Therefore the furniture being displayed in the expo becomes an un-forgetful experience at the same time fulfilling the purpose of exhibiting the furniture
About Me
Born and raised in the Arab world, I have learned how to appreciate culture and the importance of it in one’s perspective, this has a huge impact on me as a human, artist, and designer. Yet, ever since I laid eyes on the Santa Maria del Fiore, Duomo, I have grown a Florentine identity within my, that ever-lastingly grows every time I walk in the streets of Florence. After finishing a granted scholarship in the business world, I realised my ever-growing passion towards the arts and design world has always been apart of me... that is when I decided to pursue a second bachelors degree, in the arts world, its never too late to follow your heart...
