Creating Thumbnail For a Video on YouTube
My client wanted to make a thumbnail for a YouTube video about making a phone case by yourself. YouTube is an attention marketplace like all the top websites of the internet and in that kind of a market to stand out, one needs an attractive and attention grabbing thumbnail. My client wanted a thumbnail that grabs the attention of the audience she was targeting, it had to be descriptive and be able to illustrate what the video was about. I asked my client for the picture of the case that she made and positioned it such that people immediately click on it to know how they can make one for themselves. My client was very pleased with the work that I did and her video was very successful. I used Photoshop to make the entire thumbnail based on one Image. The fonts, colours and text were chosen carefully seeing as her audience were largely 18 to 25 year old Females, I added the colours that I think appeal to the segment the most.
