There was a period recently where I described my work as covering everything "from cancer to My Little Pony." While it may sound strange to some, it was a pretty good way of describing one of my biggest strengths, my versatility as a writer. In that statement alone, I was describing how my range of verticals goes from non-profit to retail. What's in-between? Well, it includes other specialties like insurance and retail. Writing is a creative muscle that constantly needs to be strengthened and flexed. Each new project is a new challenge that allows you to draw upon all of your previous experiences to turn out something great.
