I have done professional website design for 7 years. i have done development using PHP and MySQL for nearly 4 years. I am fully qualified to originate, design, produce and develop a website from nothing based on requirements. I create all of my websites in the code, not using any interface. I create my websites to match the highest standards on the internet using XHTML 1.1 and intuitive cross browser and backwards browser compatible CSS. In addition I create CSS media types which allow the website to be viewable on handheld and mobile devices, as well as transform the XHTML to allow the webpage to be printable, removing unwanted items. I also code my websites to be fully accessible to the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative AAA standard, which address the concerns of people using the internet with disabilities. I am fully capable of maintaining these standards through the entire development process. With JavaScript I can adapt web pages to incorporate special effects and extra functionality, again based on requirements. I also create backups on my web pages that allow the website to remain usable even if the user has JavaScript disabled. With my current skillset I can create any web solution that would be needed by small to medium businesses and individuals who require a new web presence, or their current website redesigned.
