Catherine the oldest among three siblings and raised by parents with an army background I have discipline as my core personality. Added to the very fact that I grew up in a boarding set up has pinned that trait in me. Schooled and Graduated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu I did not leave here but for the the period I worked for at a Five Star Boutique Resort at Coorg, Karnataka as Hospitality and Reservation Manager. This was a sabbatical off the hustle and bustle of city life. As the Corporate Secretary / Manager Admin at Harley Street The Medical Park I had the better of my working experience since I worked here 2 terms and the second time being called for.

The name is Catherine and I am the oldest among three siblings. Raised by parents with an army background I have discipline as my core personality. Added to the very fact that I grew up in a boarding set up has pinned that trait in me. Schooled and Graduated in Chennai I did not leave Chennai but for the two years I worked for at a Five Star Boutique Resort at Coorg, Karnataka as Hospitality and Reservation Manager. This was a sabbatical off the hustle and bustle of city life. Currently I am the Corporate Secretary at Harley Street The Medical. I am extremely dedicated and I thrive on a good challenge and no job is ever too hard to tackle. As Corporate Secretary, my job profile required that I take up different roles for different needs. On the Corporate Communications front I handle national and international high end and elite clients ranging from political figures, business tycoons, barristers, doctors and cine stars to housewives. As Liaison officer, I am the face of our company to the world. I am therefore the first and single point of contact for all our clients as well as our business associates. Exceptionally good in communication and interpersonal skills, Human Resources and Interpersonal Relations come naturally to me. In this line management of internal and external communication of the organization, assessing client needs and providing satisfaction are my key roles. All the while improving quality standards and creating and maintaining a positive image. Whenever possible I also take up the role at the front desk so that any prospective clients' first impression will be their best and later transferring the call to the respective doctors to take it further. Polite and soft spoken by nature I have been able to convince clients and promote goodwill between the organization and the public, employees, clients and business associates making me also responsible towards popularizing the success of the organization. Thereby giving exemplary client service and satisfaction. My role also included informing potential customers about the concept, products and services. Handling the administration of the Chennai Corporate office and catering to risk management as well as on job training of administrative staff falls effortlessly up my sleeve. Responsible for business advertising and Brand Management I focus on related advertising material, stalls and campaigns, media promotion and promoting the organization and its concepts.

Sr. Executive Hospitality / Reservations Manager

May 2011 - Aug 2012 (1 year)

Worked for a 5 Star Boutique Resort 'The Tamara Coorg' as The Senior Executive Hospitality simultaneously heading the Reservations as well as the Front Desk from May 2011 on to August 2012. Responsible for the hospitality at any given point and at all levels. Completely responsible for Reservations as well as corporate communications on a case by case basis. As the Senior Executive Hospitality I was the Single Point of contact between the Guests be it either FIT or Corporate Clients and the Resort itself. As Reservations in-charge for Guests I have always made the reservations experience a pleasant one from understanding the guest’s criteria and customizing proposals and packages. Handling reservations for the restaurant facility as well I have been able to extend the same warmth to the residents of Coorg. With finesse juggling the management of internal and external communication between Guests and the Resort as with all the departments at the Resort. Ensuring that we operated as one well-knit team. Providing Guest satisfaction at all levels all the while assessing guest needs and provide for the same. As the Head of Department I am responsible for the complete administration of the Front Office handling Reservations I have been hands on into Sales and promoting the Concept of the Company as well. Promoting the varied packages and services for individual or corporate needs. A indeed proud of the fact that I did contribute to a large extent the guest satisfaction to a 100% taking hospitality at new heights bringing the resort on Trip Advisor quite immediately after its soft launch.
