Investigation on spark electrical discharge machining of Si3N4 based advanced ceramic composites
In order to examine the investiga-tion of the material removal mechanism and surface topography at a different processing temperature in the limit of high-temperature 1200–1600 C of silicon nitride (Si3N4) based advanced ceramic compos- ites (ACC) and analyzing various process parameters of spark EDM. Establish the relationship between the geometrical tolerances, crack behavior, Thermal spalling, pores and craters were investigated.
Optimization of Geometrical Errors in EDM process parameters using Taguchi Technique
This research, optimizes the square hole drilling of SS316 Austenitic Stainless Steel composites by using the Taguchi technique. The Results reviews that the reconsider copper electrode with an aberrant through square hole has the superlative performance for machining from various aspects.
