I am a nuclear engineer, professor at the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences (InSTEC) of the Havana University, Cuba. I have a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear and Energetic Technologies and a Master degree in Nuclear Installations. At the moment, I am a PhD student at the Nuclear Energy Department of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil. I have experience in both academic life and research, with several projects completed in the last few years in various fields. I am experienced in physical, thermohydraulic and mechanical design, modeling, simulation and analysis of complex systems, such as a nuclear reactor. I specialize in the use of software like ANSYS (Fluent, CFX, Structural, Thermal and other), AutoCAD, MATLAB, MCNP and others.
