Designed a newsletter based on given branding materials (colour codes, fonts, etc.) adapted to the desired feel of the text. Wrote all the content except for the part which are redacted.
About Me
I am a university student that is looking to freelance, gain work experience and supplement my living expenses. I am a native English speaker, and have studied English linguistics at H2 Cambridge A-level for 2 years. I am proficient in essay, article, creative and business writing (event scripts, emails, project outlines, proposals). I tend towards British conventions, but can adhere to American conventions on request. Chinese is also my mother-tongue and I speak and write intermediate French. I am well-versed with the Microsoft suite and all Google drive functionalities (slides, docs, forms, sheets) I have experience vocal coaching in choir and in 3 musicals (school-based and in a youth non-profit organisation). I have also performed various genres as a vocalist, focusing on musical theatre, jazz and country, with some indie and pop. I am open to exploring voice-over work because I'm comfortable with adjusting my vocal pitch / tone and accent to different purposes, and my voice is quite dynamic and adaptable. I hold myself up to a high standard of work, do everything earnestly and passionately, and am willing to take lower rates as a non-professional. I will vary rates according to the task, intensity and duration, and would hope to form long-term working relationships as a freelancer.
