At the beginning, everything seemed well. Conversations were civil and productive as the nature of the and progression of the project was devised. The project progressed at a very slow rate following the acceptance of the project; however, wishing to remain amicable, I did not say anything and let the project progress. Upon receiving the first drafts, I became aware that my project plan had been completely ignored. Ion would respond very poorly to feedback and suggestions, either ignoring the feedback, or replying with rude, belittling comments. Despite asking him several times to remain professional, he seemed unable to, ultimately leading to the cancellation of the project. As it stands, I have been left with an incomplete project , which I will have to start again from scratch. Not only this, but I lost an additional 9 days due to a dispute with Ion, which he refused to take to arbitration stage, leading to the dispute being resolved in my favour. I believe that Ion CAN deliver exceptional work, and I had no complains about the quality of the work that was delivered in the early stages of the project. However, the 5% repeat hire and number of recommendations is incredibly telling. I for one would advise against working with Ion.
