Design of an inbuilt wood fireplace
The goal was to design an inbuilt wood fireplace from design pictures and schematics of other wood stoves. The main dimensions and specifications, like power output and efficiency, were given. From that, I calculated the primary and secondary airflow to dimension the air intake openings. The glass housing has two distinctive features: it can be opened on both sides, and the whole glass casing can be lifted. The fireplace is mainly a sheet metal design. For manufacturing, I exported for each sheet metal part in its unbend state an additional DXF file.
