Web crawlers or data crawlers are automatic data extraction and storage tools with the bility to crawl and save huge amounts of data quickly and efficiently. This is way more quicker and accurate than manual data extraction and storage. We have created multiple web crawlers (or data crawlers) which have been used successfully by our clients to gather data from websites (directories, knowledge-bases) of their choice and save them in database to be used later for various purposes. For instance one such project was to gather 80K (eighty thosuand) movie records from the famous IMDB site and store them in a database. These records can then be exported to different formats.
