Team Members: Imran Khattak, Badar Hamid, Mughis Awan, Adnan Mehmood, Waqas Qaiser, Usman Khan, Ziyad Bin Babar Project Description: Detailed 3D modeling & Animation of a Steam Turbine for the development of their Computer Based Training Project Budget: $ 105,000 Length: 8 Months Project Team Size and Makeup: Project Manager (1), Team Lead (2), Cad Modelers (2), 3D Studio Max Modelers (2), Texture Artist (1), Animators (3). Tools, Technologies & Methodologies: AutoCAD - Modeling (complex models), 3D Studio Max (basic modeling, environment, placement, texturing and animation), Photoshop (Interface, Graphic Designing). Challenges: As the Turbine could not be moved or opened at will, so we had to model the turbine partially on site, with close interaction with their mechanical engineers, workers and had to rely on their knowledge and technical orders (documents and drawings).
