Over a decade of my experience culminates and goes into my animation and imagery. With expertise in Animation, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, as well as Blender, Maya, SketchUp and various other software, I'm a true professional. My recent focus over the past 3 years has been Brand and Business Animation, helping companies to branch out their digital advertising, and strengthen their position through positive brand imagery. Working for many years with clients and companies to create visuals and 3D models, I have the experience and talent needed to help you create what you need. Having previously worked for Architectural Illustration companies, Video Game Developers and Publishers, Manufacturing and Design firms, I truly believe I've got the skills needed to create your digital project. In addition, I also hold a full degree in Computer Animation and VFX, with a focus on practical applications of that knowledge, which led me to create my own animation company.

Example After Effects Overlay

Swedish sign company, Foxlie, approached me following a succesful project bid.
Their vision was ambitious, but their budget was fairly low, I was able to produce something mimicking the high end aesthetic they were looking for, yet remaining on budget and on message.

I came up with the idea of a Fox, their mascot/namesake, chasing through the frozen landscape of Northern Europe during a harsh snowfall.
This involved takign references from life, and observing how snow reflects light, refracts, and sparkles. Add to this the production of footprints, lighting, challenges involving rendering a 3D forest, and you need a lot of creative problem solving to stay in budget!

Ultimately, the result could be better, however, with the constraints placed. It's above and beyond what either the client or I were expecting as the result!

Dead Monkey, an independent film company, asked if it were possible to bring their idea for an intro slide to life, the brief, a monkey alive and well has a sudden and deadly incident.
It was a little unusual, but I embraced it and went with my gut design!
The result is the video you see here.

Intro animation: Dead Monkey

This video was a creation for safety strap producer, Protect Ur Kid.
The production involved filming, editing, animation, voice over, image editing, photography, and more.
In the end, I was able to accomplish the finished video to the brands needs and the finished video came in good time and on budget!

Track & Rotoscope Footage

Jake did a great job on my project. His communication and manegment of expectations were great and while he wanted a couple extra hours over an above our agreed deadline it was only to ensure I was 100% happy with the end result! I would work with him again in an instan!

Edit a Video to Grey Scale and Add Text on Top

Super work from Jake, I had misdescribed the type of video I needed and Jake was very helpful in identifying the type of video it was and then adjusting his work numerous times to try and achieve that. An intial 20 minute project turned into a full 4 day project which Jakw was happy to complete for the same agreed fee. Top Freelancer 5*
