Jan has received a bachelor’s degree (Magna cum-laude) with a major in psychology and minors in sociology and social science. In addition, she has earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Care. She is a substitute teacher for middle school aged students. Her previous career was in the medical field directly related to patient care, which provides her with knowledge related to medical treatments and conditions. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, traveling, spending time with her family, and dabbling in a bit of freelance writing.
