Sliding Puzzles was my first game using the Libgdx framework. When I was a kid, I was fan of the classic 15 pieces sliding puzzles, so I took the challenge to implement it and I got to learn a lot in the process. It took me 3 weeks of intensive development to get the first version to the play store. The goal of the game is to form a figure sliding the blocks one at the time, before you run out of time. Programming games is always a challenge, because you need to be very efficient and very rigorous during testing. With this little game I learned how to use Admob and how to integrate with the Google Play services, to implement leaderboards and gave saving. After feedback from users, I changed the original play mode (which consisted only in counting the number of moves) for a race against time scheme and summing up points if you are fast and use less moves.
