HARPAL SINGH SACHDEVA Interaction Design / Design Management In the course of a diverse 4.5 years career in all aspects of interaction design, website development & design management, I’ve evolved as a skilled creative, a visionary designer and turnaround expert. My current responsibilities include project management and providing innovative design solutions to clients using best internet technologies. My vision in life is to be recognized and respected as one of the best designers of India, known for quality work and most unusual ideas. To fulfill my vision, I take a highly pragmatic, business-based approach to all of my assignments, believing that design, and design management are problem solving disciplines rather than simple aesthetic exercises. I have served industries like fashion, entertainment, manufacturing, media & communications etc. I have helped my company, at many levels, to get regular business from renowned clients. I’m known for my work dedication, strong planning & good sense of humour. I hold a degree in Master's of Computer Applications from Kurukshetra University and Post Graduate Diploma in Instructional Design from Symbiosis, Pune. I’ve also undergone training on Design Management, Quality Assurance, Color Theory and SEI-CMM at company levels. I’ve received various awards & recognitions and constantly keep an eye on my work quality to pitch for more. I’ve always remained in the merit list throughout my educational life and stood eighth in University at Bachelors level. The work done by me for Bacardi has received Macromedia Excellence Award in 2005. ELLE named Elle India’s website, conceptualized by me, as most favorite of all global visiting users. I’m listed as a featured designer in New Web Pick designer’s magazine (Issue 8, Feb 2007). I’ve also been acknowledged as one of the India’s foremost design talents by Designer’s Couch community. Whatever level I reach, getting better never stops.
