Buttons Influencing Life
This is a selection from a series of projects that involved emulating a mechanical action in life within a projected animation, and having an interface in which a button press changes the projection. My influences on this idea were testing the power of a single button and the judgement and uncertainty that erupts within individuals while interacting. Responses within the environment were documented and studied to prepare for a similar series in which every button is rigged to give a specific response without the user noticing the trick.
