My.Aral System
This system aims to explore the utilization of mobile devices for instructional delivery at MSU-IIT. The core components of the system are web-based and SMS-based applications. The system allows sending and receiving messages, taking of quizzes, replying to forum posts and viewing the quiz results. Koole's Frame Model was used for the design of mobile learning platform. The system follows the 3-tier architecture for the web-based interface implemented using CodeIgniter and jQuery Mobile Frameworks, and Gnokii SMS Daemon Server. The sixty (60) respondents of the usability testing "Strongly Agree" on the effectiveness of the implementation of the system.
