I got the acting bug in high school after I was cast as Stage Manager in Thornton Wilder's Our Town, as only a sophomore. Since then I've performed in over a dozen plays. While studying theatre at Drake University, I picked up another passion for creative writing, by crafting plays, screenplays, and poetry. A number of my works were published before I graduated undergrad, including my unique article for the Des Moines Register, An open letter to my Iowa small town.
I'm a quick learner who loves to soak up new skills and information. I also try to bring my experience, hard work, and positive attitude to each of the projects I take on, whether it be on the page, on the stage, or in front of a camera.
