Many of his earlier commissions required him to imitate the styles of other more famous artists. CARTOON AND COMIC ART: The thing that originally drew Keith to drawing was Superhero comics. As a child he found inspiration from this media and as he grew older his interest broadened in to much wider field. His interest in this media was first sparked when he realized that by using this technique the time consuming process of photo re-touching (commonly known as ´airbrushing´) furniture shots could be expedited. From there he moved on to more complex creations. His most recent work in this field was a commission through Catalyst Pictures for the BBC´s web site ´BBC JAM´. He was responsible for modelling and surfacing of the majority of the architecture (internal and external), furniture, machinery, decoration and vehicles for ´The Noisy Noughties´. He has also made various visualizations for architectural projects, furniture and other various prototypes; photo realistic images and animations of many other subjects such as landscapes, buildings and environments. Another application of this technique is the technical illustration work for fitting and assembly instructions featured on various leaflets for companies such as B&Q, Focus and Swiss. Using modelling in this area speeds up the process and allows viewing angles to be modified with great speed. DIGITAL PHOTO RETOUCHING (airbrushing): Thanks to the advent of Photoshop and 3 D modelling, airbrushing shots has become a much more affordable practice.
