Designed and developed a complex point of sale voucher & gift card Management system using C# & C++ CLI. SOAP web requests were used for this. -Upgraded SOAP system after a few years to support new JSON based API with OAuth and Bearer token authentication. Responsible for development and maintenance of an (EPOS) system deployed in over 60,000 supermarket lanes, fashion outlets and hotels. Primarily developed in vanilla C and C++, using OPOS, Multi-Threading, Credit Card Integration, Loyalty, Hardware Interfacing, Financial and Accounting Systems. Developed and maintained In-store Online Ordering System. Using SOAP web request from a C# client DLL which provided an interface for the EPOS application. Developed and maintained a Self-Check-Out EPOS interface using C++ \ CLI \ C#. Implemented a .Net module (DLL) for all codebases to centralize setting’s management (.NET config files), Log File Management (HTML with JavaScript and CSS & file compression), File access, generic tasks. This is used on all EPOS systems & back office.
