Lemon+Aid

Lemon+Aid

Lemon+Aid is a one-use lemon reamer made from sugar that has been cast onto a wooden handle. It can juice a number of lemon halves, with the remnants available to be stirred into the juice/water mix until the desired taste is achieved. Sugar and water were heated to melting temperature, and the mix was poured into silicone moulds. Simple jigs made from plastic bottles and rubber washers were then used to hold the wooden stick in place as the sugar cooled around them.
