Live Transcription with AI support
For this project, I developed a Python-based application designed to transcribe audio from a PC, particularly focusing on use cases like virtual meetings on platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom. The application provides two main functionalities based on the client's preferences: Targeted Text Analysis: Selected portions of the transcription are sent as prompts to the ChatGPT API, which generates detailed explanations or insights about the selected text. Direct Text Transfer: Alternatively, the entire transcription is pasted directly into the ChatGPT window on the user's PC, providing seamless integration for live collaboration or analysis. To ensure flexibility and optimal performance, I implemented two different text recognition solutions: OpenAI Whisper: A completely free option that provides reliable transcription capabilities.
