Mia the Rescue Dog
In 2004, I founded AR*RUFF, Arkansas Rescuing Unwanted Furry Friends, a 501C3 non-profit animal rescue located in Benton, Arkansas. We save as many dogs and cats as possible from kill shelters, from the road, from idiots, etc...we spay/neuter them, get all necessary veterinary care needed, place them on adoption sites such as www.petfinder.com, then work to find them the most wonderful pre-approved forever homes possible. This is Mia. She is an 8 week old Black Labrador Retriever. Mia was rescued from a meth lab. We are still trying to rescue her Mom and her siblings without more guns being pointed in our faces, and we will. This is Mia saying, "Oh yea? I can get up on this rock and be JUST as tall as you are!" and then sticking her tongue out at me! Mia is available for adoption! She is one smart little girl, and will make a wonderful addition to a family or to a single person. She is one of the lucky ones, and she will fill someone's life with
